Year In Review: Top-Rated Member Stories of 2009

Like all Neighborlogs sites, CDNews allows anyone to join and be able to post stories. It’s fun to look back and see what a big percentage of our top-rated stories came from community members, about topics and events that we never would have known or thought about.

Here’s the top five member stories ranked by their rating by other users:

#5 – JRo gets 5th place for her story and discussion on the plastic bag tax

#4 – Lizzowa posted a highly rated story suggesting a community effort to get Officer Jonathan Chin nominated for Officer for the Quarter.

#3 – Readers really liked Elvis’s first-hand account of the scene at 29th & Yesler on the day after the murder of Officer Tim Brenton.

#2 – Knox got high marks for his story on the results from the Colman community harvest

#1 – The most highly rated member story of 2009 was a post from Kedra, owner of All Purpose Pizza (a CDNews sponsor), announcing the plans for her new bar at 19th & Yesler (opening in the spring!)

We always want more voices on the site, so please join us and post a story whenever you have something you’d like to share with the community.
